Tuesday, August 21, 2012:  My planned outgoing route.  452.2 miles from my door to my hotel room.  That is, if I can avoid departures from the plan.

















































































8/21/2012 at 1700:  Just became aware of something I'll want to keep my eyes on in my absence from home ...

although there's no way it could reach the Florida Panhandle before my return, it could be approaching the Keys by then.




















8/21/2012 forecast for the rally period.  Saturday could be wet.

Wednesday, August 22, 2012,
0620:  There's a glaring discrpency between the NWS and wunderground's forecasts for Saturday.  NWS's forecast has no mention of rain, while wunderground has upped the chance from 50% to 60%.  I'm hoping wunderground is correct.

0630:  Morning coffee, then a full, busy, day of prepping for the trip.

1000:  Have had my oil changed, cleaned the car, bought a cooler and velcro, and picked up a paycheck from work.

Get to bed early tonight for tomorrow's early morning departure.
