The Bellwether was produced by a small group of High School and Junior College artists and journalism students in 1973.  It was circulated at Rutherford High School and Gulf Coast Community College, both located in Panama City, Florida.  This was the first of three issued and the only one known to still survive.  One other issue was stolen from a memorabilia display at the Rutherford class of '72 reunion in 1997.
In this eight page paper, the first 5 2/3 pages where social/political commentary ... while the last couple pages were more artsy oriented.  This rear end of the paper is intentionally (why?) flipped upside down from the rest of the paper with its own cover page.  I have turned the pages available for download right side up.  The thumbnails above indicate their original orientation.
You can download the pages in legibly high resolution here, or opt for a better quality (but of course much larger files) here.
